Timu ya mpira wa miguu Tanzania(Taifa stars)inayoshiriki michuano ya COSAFA nchini Afrika kusini,imewahudhunisha baadhi ya mashabiki wake baada ya kufungwa goli 2-0 na Madagascar ambayo inakadiriwa kuwa ni timu isiyo na uwezo wa kuichapa Taifa Stars kutokana na kiwango chake na vilabu vya nchi hiyo kuwa cha chini,mechi hiyo ilichezwa kwenye uwanja Royal Bafokeng jijini Rustenburg.
 Matokeo haya yamekuja siku chache baada kufungwa na Swaziland goli 1-0 na hivyo kuamsha hasira za mashabiki wengi wa soka nchini ambao wamekuwa wakimtupia lawama kocha wa timu hiyo Mart Nooij kuwa hayuko makini na kikosi anachochagua huku akiwaacha wachezaji wenye uwezo.
  Huku wengine wakisema ni bora timu ipewe mwalimu mzawa kuliko walimu wa nje ambao hawana mabadiliko yeyote kwa timu na wengine wakimkumbuka Marcio Maximmo kuwa alileta hamasa kwa timu ya Taifa na hivyo kuifanya iwavutie watu wengi nje na ndani ya nchi.

Kipindupindu chaua wakimbizi wa Burundi nchini Tanzania

Mashirika ya misaada  yalisema ugonjwa wa kipindupindu na magonjwa mengine yamelipuka kwa maelfu ya wakimbizi kutoka Burundi ambao wamefurika katika kijiji kimoja nchini Tanzania kilichopo pembeni ya ziwa Tanganyika. Ofisi ya kamishna mkuu kwa   Shirika la kuhudumia wakimbizi katika Umoja wa Mataifa iliripoti Jumapili kwamba  wakimbizi wasiopungua saba wa Burundi walifariki kutokana na kuharisha kupita kiasi.
Shirika la afya Duniani-WHO lilisema kati ya watu 500 na 2,000 wanawasili kila siku katika kijiji cha Kagunga. Wakimbizi hao wamekimbia nchini mwao kwa sababu ya khofu ya ghasia za kisiasa kufuatia uchaguzi wa mwezi Juni ambao Rais wa Burundi, Pierre Nkurunziza anataka kuwania awamu ya tatu. Uamuzi wake umeibua maandamano kwa wiki tatu katika mji mkuu wa Burundi, Bujumbura na kusababisha fujo ambapo baadhi ya maafisa wa jeshi walijaribu kufanya jaribio la mapinduzi wiki iliyopita ambalo lilishindikana ndani ya muda wa siku mbili.

WHO ilisema katika taarifa yake kwamba kijiji cha kagunga kina wakazi 11,382  kutokana na ongezeko la wakimbizi  dadi ya watu na ni zaidi ya  90,000 tangu mwezi April mwaka huu. Hakuna maji salama ya kutosha kwa ajili ya kunywa.
Kulingana na taarifa ya kamati ya kimataifa ya uokozi-IRC ni kwamba kijiji cha Kagunga kimezungukwa na milima hivyo basi wakimbizi lazima wasubiri boti ambayo ni chakavu yenye takribani miaka 100 na kusafiri kwa muda wa saa tatu kuelekea kwenye bandari ya Kigoma. Boti hiyo inasafirisha abiria 600 mara mbili kwa siku na kupelekea msongamano kwa watu wa nyuma na kuwepo hali ya mazingira yasiyo safi.
IRC ilisema ilitoa huduma ya madawa kwa wakimbizi wa kagunga waliopo kwenye boti na wale waliopo kwenye kambi ya muda mkoani Kigoma. Baada ya kufika Kigoma wakimbizi wasiopungua 16,000 wamekwenda kwenye kambi nyingine ya Nyarugusu, safari inayowachukua hadi saa nne kwa kesi za wagonjwa waliopatikana na kipindupindu na kuharisha, kwa mujibu wa WHO.

Wakati huo huo waandamanaji katika mji mkuu wa Burundi, Bujumbura walisema wataendelea kuandamana hadi Rais Pierre Nkurunziza aachie madaraka  mwishoni mwa muhula wake wa pili.
Katiba ya Burundi inasema rais anaweza kuchaguliwa kuongoza nchi kwa awamu mbili za muhula wa miaka mitano. Nkurunziza anasema kuwa anaweza kuwania awamu ya tatu kwa sababu bunge lilimchagua kuongoza nchi kwa awamu ya kwanza. Wapinzani wanasema awamu ya tatu inakiuka katiba na mkataba wa Amani  wa Arusha, Tanzania ambao ulimaliza vita vya wenyewe kwa wenyewe mwaka 2006.

Timu nane zenye viwango vya chini kwa ubora kwa mujibu wa takwimu za FIFA kwa mwezi Februari, zimepangwa katika makundi mawili yenye timu nne kila moja, Tanzania ikiwemo katika michuano hiyo.
Kundi A lina timu za Zimbabwe, Namibia, Seychelles na Mauritius. Ambapo kundi B lina timu za Madagascar, Lesotho, Swaziland na Tanzania.
Katika kundi A Zimbabwe inaoongoza kundi hilo kwa kujikusanyia pointi sita baada ya michezo miwili ikifuatiwa na Namibia yenye pointi nne. Seychelles ni ya tatu na pointi moja. Mkiani ni Mauritius ambayo haina pointi.
Na katika kundi B, Madagascar na Swaziland zote zina pointi tatu, huku Lesotho na Tanzania zikiwa mikono mitupu.
Tanzania leo,Jumatano inarusha karata yake ya pili kwa kupambana na Madagascar baada ya kucharazwa bao 1-0 na Swaziland katika mchezo wake wa kwanza.
Timu za juu katika kila kundi zitasonga mbele hatua ya mtoano, ambapo timu sita za viwango vya juu zitaingia katika mashindano hayo yakiwa katika hatua ya robo fainali na kuendelea. Afrika Kusini kutokana na ubora wake itapambana na Botswana hatua ya robo fainali.

Ngasa ameripotiwa kufurahia mkataba huo mnono na kuanza kwake kwa maisha mapya baada ya kucheza nyumbani kwa miaka kadhaa.
Ngasa ameonekana katika mitandao kadhaa akiwa na kocha wa timu hiyo baada ya kusaini mkataba.
“Nataka kutumia fursa hii kuitangaza soka ya Tanzania na nitajituma ili kufanya vizuri zaidi", amesema mchezaji huyo.

TETEMEKO LA ARDHI LAJERUHI NA KUUWA NEPAL

Raia wa Nepal wakishangaa matokeo ya tetemeko jipya
Wakati kukiripotiwa mvua kubwa na tetemeko kubwa na jipya nchini Nepal, Wakuu nchini humo wamethibitisha kuwa idadi ya watu waliokufa kutokana na tetemeko hilo jipya , imepanda na kufikia zaidi ya watu 60.
Wakati huo huo helikopta ya kikosi cha majini cha Marekani,ambayo ilikuwa ikifanya kazi ya kusaidia kusambaza huduma za kibinaadamu nchini Nepal, haijulikani.
Taarifa za awali zinaeleza kuwa, ndani ya helkopta hiyo kulikuwa na watu nane,miongoni mwao, sita ni askari wa kikosi cha majini cha Marekani na askari wawili wenyeji wa jeshi la Nepal.
Maofisa wa serikali wa Marekani wamesema kwamba helkopta hiyo ilikuwa maeneo ya jirani na kijiji cha Charikot, ambacho kiliharibiwa vibaya na tetemeko la ardhi.

Maafisa wanasema wanafanya kila wawezalo kuwasaidia wanohitaji msaada baada ya kukoseshwa makazi, lakini hawajaweza kuthibitisha idadi ya watu waloathiriwa na walofariki. vyombo vya habari vinatoa idadi zinazotofautiana kati ya mtu moja kufariki hadi wanne.
